In 1981, the NAD issued Jack R. Gannon’s Deaf Heritage, a monumental (and enjoyable) history of the U.S. Deaf community, recently reissued by Gallaudet University Press. Gannon has also written and co-authored several other notable books, including a comprehensive 50-year history of the WFD. And more to come.
