Eyeth, in contemporary Deaf Art usage, is an imaginary Deaf planet (Eye + th) where there are no communication barriers— in contrast with Earth (Ear + th, the planet of hearing people). Paul Scearce has fun playing with this theme; his work incor- porates ASL butterflies, sturdy sighted, seeing trees—and even a signng sun.
